Founded in 2023 by Jordan Dearsley and Nikhil Gupta, Vapi is a developer-first platform that simplifies the creation, testing, and deployment of voice AI agents. It allows developers to build and deploy voice agents in minutes, rather than months.

Vapi's customers span various industries, including finance, healthcare, and travel. Some notable customers include Mindtickle, Luma Health, Ellipsis Health, Gestionadora de Créditos, Y Combinator, Deepgram, Speaksage, Playn Voice and others.

Vapi recently secured $20 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners, valuing the company at $130 million. The funding will be used to expand its engineering team, scale its infrastructure, and reach new enterprise customers. The total funding raised by Vapi is $23 million.
