Founded in 2012 by Tejas Gawande and Mayuresh Patole, Chronicle offers presentation and storytelling tools for impressive, interactive stories. Chronicle's interactive presentation design tool uses Notion-like “blocks” to build compelling visuals for storytelling. The experience is meant to be as simple as arranging widgets on an iPhone, and the founders say decks can be created in just eight minutes.
As expected, Patole and Gawande used Chronicle to build their pitch deck for fundraising. The two-year-old startup raised $7.5 million in seed funding from Accel and Square Peg, along with angel investors from Apple, Google, Meta, Slack, Stripe, Superhuman, OnDeck and Adobe.
