Pepper Bio, founded in 2020, is a transomics drug discovery company that leverages its proprietary transomics database and analytics to identify promising first-in-class therapies, discover new uses for existing therapeutics, and rescue drugs in development.

Pepper Bio utilises its own transomics platform, dubbed COMPASS, to identify drug targets. COMPASS translates layers of biological maps, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and phosphoproteomics, to offer researchers a complete picture of how diseases impact biology.

In Jan 2023, Pepper Bio completed an oversubscribed seed funding round, raising $6.5 million. This funding was led by NFX and included participation from Merck Digital Sciences Studio, Silverton Partners, and others.
