Tesla Pitch Deck

Tesla Motors was founded in July 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Elon Musk led Tesla's first funding round (contributing $6.5M of the $7.5M Series A) in 20024 and became chairman and CEO in 2008. The company focused on electric vehicles (EVs), but branched out from the automotive sector to energy generation / storage with the acquisition of Solar City in 2016.
Tesla went public via IPO in 2010 (the first American car company to do so since Ford Motor). This pitch deck was published shortly afterwards, preceding the release of the highly-successful Model S luxury sedan.
