Noto is a NYC-based startup that provides an AI-powered operating system for tutoring businesses. The platform combines scheduling, payment processing, student progress tracking, curriculum management, and parent communication into a single interface, using artificial intelligence to automate administrative tasks

AJ Ding and Steve Wang founded the startup after they spent the summer of 2024 knocking on the doors of small firms across New York City, and they kept hearing the same story: business was booming, but operations were a mess. The duo launched Noto in September as a complete ecosystem that addresses the needs of owners, staff, students, and parents.

The company has raised $3.8 million in seed funding led by Base10 Partners. With the new funding, Noto plans to grow its engineering team, hire a business operations lead, and improve the platform's AI capabilities.
