Guacamelee! Pitch Deck

Guacamelee! is set in a magical world inspired by traditional Mexican culture and folklore. The game features melee combat, parallel dimensions and same-screen co-op. The original Guacamelee! received wide critical acclaim and was a finalist for both IndieCade and the Independent Games Festival's Excellence in Visual Art award.
Toronto, Canada-based Drinkbox Studios is the developer behind the Guacamelee! series. The company was founded in April 2008 by Chris Harvey, Ryan MacLean and Graham Smith, three programmers previously employed by Pseudo Interactive, which closed earlier that year.
Following the completion of their first title, Tales from Space: About a Blobasked, the founders enlist the help of their entire staff to brainstorm ideas for a brand new game and pitch the concept to them in a simple, one-page design document.
