Square Pitch Deck

Created in 2009 by Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, Square (now Block, Inc.) is the U.S. market leader in point-of-sale systems. In December 2009, Dorsey announced the launch of Square, which allowed merchants and individuals to accept secure payment from credit and other cards using a mobile phone and a "card-reading dongle." Square crossed 1 million merchants on December 13, 2011. Originally a single product company that provided a mobile credit card reader for small businesses, Square expanded into a multi-brand ecosystem offering diverse financial services for both merchants and consumers.
