Joshua Jordan Harris is an American investor, sports team owner, and philanthropist. He is a co-founder of the private equity firm Apollo Global Management and a managing partner of the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL's New Jersey Devils. In July 2021, NFL owners unanimously approved Josh Harris’ purchase of the Washington Commanders, a professional American football team based in the Washington metropolitan area, from Dan Snyder for a record-breaking $6.05 billion.
